Some links on this site are commercial. They never buy a rewrite of the surrounding paragraph.
We have never taken a criticism down because somebody asked, and the asking tends to tell readers more than the original complaint did.
What gets written is decided by demand, not by a schedule. A question that keeps arriving, from readers or from our own work, becomes a page. A clever keyword with no real question behind it does not.
The date you see is real. A tidy up of wording leaves it alone; only a change to what the piece recommends moves the modified date, along with a note saying so.
Bylines are real people with real archives attached. If you disagree with a piece, you can see what else the same person has written and judge accordingly.
Hannah Cole, Editor and strategy reviewer. Hannah reviews strategy and story-heavy games, finishes everything she writes up, and keeps a notebook of every run that went wrong.
Marcus Reyes, Multiplayer and competitive reviewer. Marcus spent years grinding ranked ladders before deciding he liked explaining games more than climbing them.
Priya Nair, Indie and co-op reviewer. Priya plays most co-op games with her partner on the couch and judges them the same way, through long ordinary evenings.
Write to [email protected] with the page address and what is wrong. Factual errors are fixed quickly. If the correction changes the conclusion of a piece, we add a short note at the foot of the page rather than quietly editing it.
